Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the deterioration of exhaust emission even when a fuel supply quantity is abruptly varied.
CONSTITUTION: A burner 2 for heating supplied fluid is disposed in a housing 1 provided with a fluid channel 13. The combustion type heater comprises an injector 3 for supplying liquid fuel, a vaporizing plate 4 for vaporizing fuel supplied from the injector 3 to supply it into the mixing cylinder 31 of the burner 2, and an air pump 82 for supplying combustion air into the cylinder 21. A controller 6 varies, when the fuel supplying quantity of the injector 3 is altered, the supplying quantity of the air at a predetermined delay with respect to the fuel supplying quantity.
