To provide a technique surely and easily loading a fuel cylinder in a combustion type working tool.
This combustion type working tool which performs predetermined machining work by advancing a piston member by a combustion pressure generated by burning combustible gas in a combustion chamber is provided with a cylindrical storage chamber 181 storing fuel cylinder 149 in a hand grip 105. The fuel cylinder 149 is loaded by being inserted into the storage chamber 181, and is so constituted that the fuel in the fuel cylinder 149, in its loaded state, is led from a fuel feed port 149a to a fuel feed passage via a fuel receiving part provided in a tool body side. The storage chamber 181 is provided with a guide means 182. The guide means 182 is so constituted, when the fuel cylinder 149 is inserted into the storage chamber 181, as to guide the fuel cylinder 149 to the storage chamber 181 so that the fuel feed port 149a faces the fuel receiving part.
