PURPOSE: To facilitate an indication of abnormal condition in the combustion unit by a method wherein either a condition in which a combustion unit may not be used or a condition in which a combustion unit is troubled may be informed by a voice generator assembled in the combustion unit.
CONSTITUTION: Operation of the burner motor 11, pump 15, ignition device 13 and fan motor 6 and time control for a pre-purging operation etc. are performed on the basis of a program at the combustion control part 1. The sensor 23 senses a fuel in the fuel tank, the sensor 24 detects if the water mixed in the fuel tank is over the specified level or not, the sensor 25 detects a clogging of a filter for use in removing dusts in the combustion air, the sensor 26 is arranged in the discharge pipe or air supply pipe to detect air pressure. Voice generator unit 22 is operated in response to the output of each of the sensors, and the abnormal condition may be informed by sound.
