Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a combustor of high combustion efficiency by which unburnt component contained in oombustion exhaust gas in a slight amount can be combusted so completely that rednction of NOX can be realized.
CONSTITUTION: The conbustor is formed of a fluidized bed 1, a free board part 2 positioned above the bed 1, and an after furning zone 3 which is a high temperature zone where unburnt gas component is comtusted. At a connection part 4 for the free board part 2 and the after burning zone 3, a cross sectional area AB at an entrance of the after burning zone 3 and another cross sectional area AF at the free board part 2 satisfy the following expression: AF/AB≥2.5. the combustor supplies tertiary air to the entrance of the after furning zone 3 for the purpose of supplying air used for mixing, stirring and combusting unburnt gas component.
