Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently evaluate the command overrun recovering processing of firmware by setting up a command overrun detecting point with the firmware.
CONSTITUTION: If a command is not issued when the output 301 of a counter 30 is turned to '0', command ovrerun is generated. When an optional value less than the initial value of the counter 30 is set up in the register 40, virtual generation of command overrun is applied to a processor 10 at a point of time when command overrup is not normally generated. Thus, the command overrup recovery processing of the firmware can be efficiently evaluated.
