PURPOSE: To offer a display rack having good display assortment and hygienic quality by installing a rack body having horizontal and bottom guides, and a stopper laid at the front of the rack in contact with the front side of a commodity, in such a way that the rack body is raised and inclined backward.

CONSTITUTION: A horizontal guide 1 comprises a single round bar and erected on a frame 4. A bottom guide 2 comprises two round bars laid in parallel to the horizontal guide 1 from the front part of the frame 4 to the rear part thereof. A stopper 3 comprises a short piece fixed to the rising part 12 of the front side of the horizontal guide 1. The aforesaid horizontal guide 1, bottom guide 2 and stopper 3 are assembled into the frame 4, thereby constituting a rack body, and this rack body is so placed as to rise and incline backward. The sliding drop of the frame 4 itself due to inclination is prevented by engaging a projection 7 fixed to the lower part of the frame 4 with a fastener 6. As a result, the foremost commodity B is easiest to hold and, therefore, first taken out. By replenishing the commodity B from the back of the rack, therefore, old commodities are always displayed in sequence at the front of the rack and the old commodity B is never left deep in the rack.
