Abstract:

To provide a commodity information providing system that can speedily provide commodity information required by a user at a time required by the user and prevent the commodity information from being indefinitely provided to a rival company or the like to which the commodity information is not intended to be provided.

The commodity information providing system comprises a server, a user side terminal, and a storage medium storing a predetermined program capable of being started on the user side terminal. The server is connected to the user side terminal via an information communication network. The server is characterized in that it is provided with a storage part storing user identification information for identifying the user and information of the provided article, and an authentification means for confirming the user identification information and permitting log-in in response to the result, and the storage medium has a connecting means for connecting it to the server.
