To provide a commodity management system which enables a user to check commodity information always for 24 hours using a network, to deliver the commodity without being fixed to a store, and can mitigate loads in commodity management and store operation in each distributor without installing a commodity depository, etc.
The commodity management system has; an information management terminal; a commodity information display means for customer which displays commodity information for customer in a user terminal; a store information display means by which information about other stores, commodity information for the store about commodities managed at own store, commodity information for customer, user's personal information, and store information including information on amount of payment and receipt of money are displayed on the store terminal; and a commodity transfer instruction means which issues an instruction to transfer commodities to the store terminals before and after the change when the information management terminal receives a request to change the delivery store of the commodity from a user's terminal.
