This commodity receiving body is equipped with a plurality of vertical members 3 the each of which comprises a plate material or a rod material having a desired shape, has a plurality of engaging grooves 3a, and has a dropout-preventing wire material 4 integratedly extending between inner walls of the grooves, and further equipped with horizontal members 5 the each of which comprises a plate material having a shape suitable for enclosing the commodity, has notched parts 5a in its peripheral area, and is crosswise imposed on the vertical member 3 as a result of inserting the wire material 4 into the notched part 5a and engaging the engaging groove 3a with the horizontal member 5, so that the horizontal members 5 in a pair are bridged between the notched parts 5a in a pair and formed into a three-dimensional structure, by using one of the vertical members 3, which is selectively imposed on the paired notched parts 5a of the paired horizontal members 5, then the horizontal members 5 in another pair are imposed on each other through another of the vertical members 3 which is engaged with the notched parts 5a in another pair, and sequentially the other horizontal members 5 are optionally imposed on one another, so as to form the commodity receiving body.
