Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically set, store, and generate a customer code.
CONSTITUTION: A file processor 20 is provided with storage capacity margin deciding means (21 and 22), dummy answer control means (21, 22, and 25), and new setting, storage, and generation control means (21 and 22); when it is decided that a customer code inquired from a terminal machine 10 is not set and stored in a customer data terminal file 23T in advance, a dummy answer indicating that the code is set and stored is sent to the terminal machine 10 as long as the customer data file 23T has enough storage capacity left, and then the customer code is automatically set and stored in its allowance area.
