Abstract:
To improve storage efficiency of commodities by decreasing dead space.SOLUTION: A commodity storage device 20 has columns 30a and 30b parallelly arranged in a line in which many shelves 314 and 324 are arranged at prescribed intervals in endless conveyance chains 313 and 323 stretched between top and bottom pairs of sprockets 311, 312, 321 and 322, commodities laid on the shelves 314 and 324 are conveyed downward in conveyance areas 41a and 41b, commodities laid on the shelves 314 and 324 are put out downward in put-out areas 42a and 42b, and the shelves 314 and 324 assume a posture extending downward in feedback areas 43a and 43b. The columns 30a and 30b adjacent to each other are arranged in which the conveyance area 41a of one column 30a is adjacent to the feedback area 43b of the other column 30b, and the feedback area 43a of one column 30a is adjacent to the conveyance area 41b of the other column 30b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
