Abstract:

To provide a method and a system for safely and surely distributing data such as messages, voice, images or motion pictures.

Authentication is performed between an authenticating party and a to-be-authenticated party in the following manner: authenticators R1 and R2 owned by both parties, respectively, are encrypted and decrypted to verify the identification of these two authenticators R1 and R2 and a newly generated authenticator R3 is encrypted and decrypted to be verified. After authentication is established between the two parties, a common key to be used for distribution of data such as messages, voice, images or motion pictures is encrypted and decrypted using the newly generated authenticator.
