Abstract:
To provide a common mode choke coil having a mode conversion characteristic that can be reduced in a low frequency region in the vicinity of 1 MHz.SOLUTION: A winding core portion 7 has: a two layer winding region A in which a first layer of a first wire 3 wound on a peripheral surface 5 of the winding core portion 7 and a second layer of a second wire 4 wound on the outside of the first layer are configured; and a non-contact winding region B in which the wires 3, 4 are wound in a state in which the wires are not in contact with each other. The non-contact winding region B is positioned between a first flange portion 11 and the two layer winding region A. The two layer winding region A has switching portions C1, C2 that are portions at which the first wire 3 and the second wire 4 intersect for switching positional relation in an axial direction of each turn of the first wire 3 and the second wire 4 in the two layer winding region A. In the non-contact winding region B, a wire length of the first wire 3 is longer than a wire length of the second wire 4. Through both regions, a coil length lg1 of the first wire 3 is longer than a coil length lg2 of the second wire 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
