Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding-type common mode coil which has terminal electrodes with excellent mechanical strength and a structure where contact between the wire connected to one terminal electrode and an adjacent another terminal electrode in the same flange is avoided.
SOLUTION: Protrusions 24a through 24d are formed by dividing the upper portions of flanges 16a and 16b respectively integrated with both side of a core 14 into two pieces with notches 22a and 22b. Each protrusion is extended on the core 14 toward the opposite flange, and the inner corners on the extension sides of the protrusions are chamfered in a plane form, thereby positioning the parts of the extensions on the core 14 as remaining extensions 26a through 26d.
