The communication apparatus is connected an electronic apparatus with a built-in battery so as to be able to communicate with each other. The communication apparatus comprises: a CPU; memory for storing data; a first communication interface for communication with the electronic apparatus; and a second communication interface for communication with an external network. The CPU receives an earthquake prompt report from the network, using the second communication interface. The CPU transmits data to the electronic apparatus, using the first communication interface, on the basis of the reception of the earthquake prompt report.
