Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a quality of a pulse width modulation signal in an RF band.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus generates a modulation signal on the basis of a fluctuation component signal and a phase component signal indicating a fluctuation and a phase of a transmission symbol and outputs the modulation signal. A pulse width modulator 13 of the communication apparatus, comprises: a reduction part 30 that reduces a signal component indicating the fluctuation smaller than a predetermined threshold value in the fluctuation component signal, and outputs a first signal; a signal generator 23 that generates a second signal on the basis of the phase indicated by the phase component signal; a comparator 24 that generates the pulse width modulation signal on the basis of the first and second signals; and a band passing filter that generates the modulation signal by filtering the pulse width modulation signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
