A communication processor 110 converts transmission data from transmission data in a frequency region into transmission data in a time region by inverse Fourier transform, and converts a reception signal into data in a frequency region into reception data in a time region by Fourier transform. A control unit 140 calculates a communication speed at the time of using radio transmission/reception section 131 as a communication means, and a communication speed at the time of using an electric line transmission/reception section 132 as a communication means, respectively. A communication means selector 120 selects any communication means having a higher communication speed from among the communication speeds calculated by the control unit 140, outputs the transmission data in time region to the selected communication means, and outputs a reception signal received by the selected communication means to the communication processing means.
