Abstract:
To provide a communication cable capable of preventing a formation of a crack potentially leading to a deterioration of shield performance, in a film-like noise shield material having a metal layer.SOLUTION: A communication cable 1 includes: a core wire 2 having a conductor 21 and an insulator layer 22 surrounding an outer periphery of the conductor 21; and a film-like shield 3 attached surrounding an outer periphery of the core wire 2 in a longitudinal direction. The film-like shield 3 includes: a metal matrix layer 32 composed of a metal layer; and a stripe member 33 being a linear or belt-like component closely adhered onto the metal matrix layer 32. The stripe member 33 is extended along an axial direction A1 of the core wire 2, and a plurality of the stripe members are arranged with intervals along a circumferential direction A2 of the core wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
