Abstract:
The disconnection device (1) has a single-pole computer terminal connected to the computer and at least one single-pole remote terminal connected to a data source, coupled via an electrical switching device, for making or breaking the data connection between the terminals. A control terminal of the switching device is connected to the supply voltage for the computer, so that the data connection is provided when the supply voltage is present and diconnected when the supply voltage fails.
