To provide a communications device, a communication method and a communication processing program which do not require substantially the functional enhancement of extension telephone sets, capable of mutually transmitting and receiving speech signals by extension telephone call connection, including a master unit by which speech communication connection is made to the outside line, such as a public telephone line, and to make speech communication possible, using an outside line whose telecommunication standard differs from the outside line and extension, without starting terminal units.

The control unit of a slave set 5 applicable to an internet phone service controls a radio transceiver circuit so as to transmit and receive communication speech signals, by making extension telephone call connection with a master unit 1 and a slave set 3-k by the same communication standards as those of the extension. Meanwhile, the control unit of the slave set transmits and receives communication speech signals via a network interface, by making the connection via the internet to an internet phone service communication line differing in communication standards, such as a protocol, a connection method, a coding method of speech signals, compared to a public telephone line X and the extension.
