Abstract:
A communication apparatus (2900) in the present disclosure includes a signal processing unit (2901) that adjusts a transmission timing and/or a frequency such that a modulated symbol sequence for each terminal is transmitted within a frame corresponding to a communicable range to which each terminal belongs among a plurality of frames defined by time and frequency bands and a weighting synthesis unit (2902) that applies weights to each of the modulated symbol sequences and transmits the modulated symbol sequence from an antenna element. The frame is set such that the number of modulated symbol sequences that can be simultaneously transmitted in the same period of time and the same frequency band becomes different depending on communicable ranges, the frame including subframes specified by performing time division and/or frequency division on the frame. The signal processing unit assigns, to each of the subframes, modulated symbol sequences, the number of which is equal to or fewer than the number of modulated symbol sequences that can be simultaneously communicated.
