PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasteful processing in a control server.SOLUTION: When receiving from an air conditioner 11 a state change notification related to a set temperature, a gateway device 10 determines whether or not a state change notification related to the set temperature is received from the air conditioner 11 during a time from the reception of the state change notification to the lapse of a predetermined time. When the gateway device 10 does not receive a state change notification related to the set temperature from the air conditioner 11 during the time from the reception of the state change notification to the lapse of the predetermined time, the gateway device 10 transmits the state change notification received from the air conditioner 11 to a control server 5.
