PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication system that can improve communication performance by suppressing an impact of a noise source or the like.SOLUTION: A communication device of the present disclosure includes: an antenna unit including a human body electrode and a space electrode; a communication circuit unit for carrying out communication via the antenna unit at least using a human body as a communication medium; and a shield structure that includes an opening into which part of the human body or a communication conductor electrically connected with the human body can be inserted and that houses at least part of the antenna unit among the communication circuit unit and the antenna unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
