To provide a communication apparatus for estimating a multiplexed code (MC) of packets on which one or more kinds of data are multiplexed.
A data processing apparatus 12 for processing received packets extracts (S1) the MC included in the packets to check the presence / absence of an error of the MC. When detecting no error in the MC (N in S3), the data processing apparatus 12 measures (learns) MC statistic data representing statistic rules of the MC. On the other hand, when detecting any error in the MC (Y in S3), the data processing apparatus 12 estimates the MC on the basis of the learned MC statistic data. Then the data processing apparatus 12 demultiplexes and processes the data multiplexed on the packet on the basis of the MC extracted from the packets or the estimated MC.
