Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device in which the labor required for all apparatus becoming an object to be searched to be registered beforehand in the contact destination is omitted, when an apparatus becoming an object to be searched responds to a search request by using the contact destination information in apparatus search.SOLUTION: An apparatus becoming a candidate to be searched receives an identifier from an apparatus of search source, registers the identifier, and upon receiving a search request from the apparatus of search source, transmits a search response to the apparatus of search source, and if the apparatus of search source has already been registered, transmits a search request where the identification information of the own device is set as the transmission source information to a peripheral external device, and upon receiving a search response to the search request from a peripheral external device, transmits the information of a peripheral external device included in the response to the apparatus of search source.
