Abstract:
A communication device (1) includes a structure (2), a controller (100), and sensors that detect the relative position of an object around the structure (2). The structure (2) has a face unit (20) that is one of the units of the structure (2). The controller (100) controls the movement of each unit of the structure (2), thereby causing the structure (2) to perform a gesture expressing a communication behavior. The controller (100) controls the movement of the units so that the structure (2) performs different gestures depending on the angle between the direction of the face unit (20) and the direction of the user's face as viewed from the face unit (20).
