Abstract:
To provide a CAN communication device which can suppress a bit length fluctuation caused by a foreign noise.SOLUTION: The communication device includes a state machine. On determination that a measured inclination Ms of a transmitted transmission waveform is larger than a target inclination Ts (YES in S103), an inclination of a transmission signal potential change in an adjustment period is adjusted to the side where the inclination becomes gentle (S104). On the other hand, on determination that the measured inclination Ms of the transmitted transmission waveform is smaller than the target inclination Ts (NO in S103), an inclination of the transmission signal potential change in the adjustment period is adjusted to the side where the inclination becomes sharp (S105). A major cause of a measured inclination different from an assumed inclination is a foreign noise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
