Abstract:
A communication apparatus comprises first search means (303) for searching, in one predetermined channel, a NAN (Neighbor Awareness Networking) cluster by a first method complying with Wi-Fi Neighbor Awareness Networking, second search means (304) for searching, over a plurality of channels, another communication apparatus by a second method which is different from the first method, accepting means (306) for accepting a search instruction at the communication apparatus from a user, and control means (301) for controlling, in response to accepting a first instruction by the accepting means, the first search means and the second search means so as to execute a first search using one of the first search means and the second search means, to execute a second search using another one of the first search means and the second search means, and then to execute a third search using the same search means as the first search.
