PURPOSE: To provide the communication equipment which can automatically register an abbreviated dial and a one-action dial corresponding to the frequency of the call originating operation of an opposite side telephone number.

CONSTITUTION: A communication equipment provided with an abbreviated dial / one-action dial registering function is improved for this communication equipment. This equipment is provided with a code registration memory 3 for storing a telephone number while allocating a registration code to it, dial memory 1 for temporarily storing the call originated telephone number and buffer memory 21 for accumulating the number of times of call origination to the telephone number within a prescribed period and further, an automatic registering means 2 is provided to allocate the registration code to the telephone number and to register it on the code registration memory 3 when a call is originated to the telephone number prescribed times.
