Abstract:

PURPOSE: To check the communication function in a picture data recorder efficiently.

CONSTITUTION: Interfaces 40, 44 are connected respectively to external devices and a CPU 36 writes a test pattern data into a RAM 46. The test pattern is written in the RAM 46 again via the interfaces 44,40. The communication function of the interfaces 40,44 is checked by comparing the data. In this case, the two interfaces 40,44 are simultaneously checked at once through one check operation.
