PURPOSE: To enable time efficient operation by increasing a route for inputting a cut job program.
CONSTITUTION: During the operation of a saw, a programmable controller stores the initial position of a truck 19, and calculates its second position to instruct the truck 19 to draw out the material by a desired length. The controller instructs the truck 19 to move to a desired second position. When the truck 19 moves, the position of the truck 19 is periodically detected by an encoder 55, and transmits the information to the controller. When the operation comes to near the end, the controller instructs the truck 19 to decelerate, and lastly instructs the truck 19 to stop in a place at the end of the stroke. When the material ends to move to the desired position, clamping for the truck 19 is released, and a saw table clamp clamps the material in its position.
