Abstract:
To indicate whether radio resources provided by a base station can accommodate increased need for radio resources.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: an access system including a base station and an edge apparatus that copies user data from a signal received by the base station; a user data system including a mobile core apparatus that receives a signal transmitted from the base station; and a monitoring system including a packet analysis apparatus that analyzes traffic, a radio simulator that calculates the future quality of radio between the base station and the terminal, and a management apparatus that presents the status of use of radio resources by the calculation using information collected from the packet analysis apparatus, the mobile core apparatus, and the radio simulator. The management apparatus predicts radio resources needed when the communication conditions deteriorate from the calculated future quality of radio and the analyzed traffic and outputs data for displaying the status of use of the radio resources as compared to the upper limit of radio resources that can be provided by the base station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
