Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method and a communication system which make data transmission efficient by adjusting data quantity that is accumulated in memory in real time in inter-terminal communication whose transmission rate changes depending on transmission data.
SOLUTION: Data quantity which is accumulated in memory 13 is adjusted in real time in inter-terminal communication whose transmission rate changes depending on transmission data. More specifically, a sending end transmission rate measuring circuit 14 measures a data transmission rate from a sending terminal in fixed intervals. A receiving end transmission rate measuring circuit 15 measures a data transmission rate in fixed intervals. A rate compactor circuit 18 operates the difference between two measured data transmission rates. An accumulated quantity operating part 17 calculates the data accumulated quantity of the memory 13 based on the difference of the data transmission rates. An accumulated quantity controlling part 16 optimally maintains the accumulated quantity of the memory 13 based on the data accumulated quantity.
