Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase communication reliability in multi-hop communication while reducing signal interference and/or racquet collision.SOLUTION: The multi-hop communication system comprises: a master unit 20; and plural extension units 10 as nodes. The master unit 20 and the plural extension units 10 perform multi-hop communication thereamong. Each extension unit 10 includes a hybrid extension unit 11 which is capable of selecting two different communication systems; i.e., wireless communication and power-line carrier communication. The hybrid extension unit 11 includes a select and processing section 1103 that selects a communication system which is used in an upper communication channel at the master unit 20 side according to a topology of a communication channel in neighboring another node the hop number of which is 1.
