Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a suppression or a reduction of an increase in a capital investment and maintenance management man-hours for communication quality measurement monitoring.SOLUTION: A communication quality monitoring device comprises a plurality of control units having a function for receiving packets from a network and transmitting packets to the network and a function for measuring communication quality from information of the packets. One control unit makes copies of the received packets and/or packets to be transmitted and transmits the copied packets to another control unit. The latter control unit measures the communication quality by using the copied packets transmitted from the former control unit.
