To provide a new communication robot and a caution control system using the same.
The caution control system 10 includes the communication robot 12. The communication robot 12 receives coordinate signals detected by a computer 14, based on output from a floor sensor 16, detects the number of persons present near the robot, and executes group-targeted caution control processing or person-targeted caution control processing, based on the number of the persons. For example, in execution of the group-targeted caution control, the robot acts by looking over the entire group, in a manner talking to all of the group. On the other hand in execution of the person-targeted control, the robot acts by looking at the control target person, in a manner personally taking to the person. According to the present invention, the caution control can be suitably carried out.
