To provide a communication support device for efficiently preparing and transmitting communication information such as an electronic mail or a phone call.

This mail support device extracts and displays relevant mail relevant to reply mail (steps 1002 to step 1004) in starting the preparation of reply mail (step 1001). The mail support device displays a warning message when acquiring the relevant mail while preparing reply mail, and to warn a user that the relevant mail has been acquired (step 1006 to step 1009). Also, the mail support device confirms the presence/absence of the reception of the relevant mail by acquiring the reception mail from the mail server again in starting the execution of the transmission of the reply mail (step 1011 to step 1013), and when any relevant mail is present, the mail support device displays a warning message by interrupting the transmission of the replay mail (step 1014).
