Abstract:
To provide a communication supporting apparatus for supporting mutual understanding in a shared virtual world (SVW).
The communication supporting apparatus 50 includes a SVW generating part 164 for generating and maintaining an object in the SVW; a coincidence module 154 for deciding whether or not an object in the SVW to which an agent pays attention is identical to an object to which another agent pays attention; and a feedback module 156 for showing the object of attention in a specified method when it is known that the second agent pays attention to the same object. For instance, the feedback module displays the object with emphasis on an LCD 62.
