Abstract:
To perform data communication switchover and update of firmware, in a state of data communication enabled, without generating communication interrupted states.
The transfer processing portion 15 of a router 10 transfers internal resource information (held data) inside a route information table 11 to a router 20 via internal interfaces 17, 27, according to communication switchover directions from an operation part 18 and enables data communication via the router 20, without session interruption. Moreover, when a data change detecting portion 16 detects a change in the held data during this transfer, the transfer portion 15 retransfers the changed held data.
