Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the read in a system for reading facsimile-communicated image data, if the image data seem to contain secret contents.
SOLUTION: After recording log data in a common area of a RAM in a composite apparatus (s210), a PC generates and distributes the log pages provided with a link to the image data (s270). This link is one for linking to a file (image data) registered on a log table. Contents identified with the log data recorded in the RAM of the composite apparatus are registered on the log table (s250) but the file is identifiable only when the composite apparatus decides the log data to have communication contents permitting the image data to be recorded. Thus, the PC generates log pages provided with a link to only a file decided at the composite apparatus side to have the communication contents permitting the picture data to be recorded, i.e., opened to the public over a communication line network.
