Abstract:
PURPOSE: To constitute the system so that an APP for executing an inter- network communication operates without executing a code conversion between the type of machines of different code systems.
CONSTITUTION: Between an APP 1 and a network function 8, a code converting function 5 is added, and a code conversion is executed therein in accordance with necessity. As for its converting specifications (selection of code conversion table 6), the APP 1 designates it by issuing a system call in advance. In such a way, the APP operated in the superordinate part of a network I/F program can transmit and receive the data without executing a code conversion between the type of machines of different code systems.
