Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize an inexpensive multiprocessor system by transferring a request from the 1st local processor to the 2nd local processor through a global processor, and transmitting its answer in the opposite order. CONSTITUTION:A line control processor 5 sets a command and a device address in a local processor (LP)-global processor (GP) communication register 7. A GP4 scans LP-GP communication registers 7 and 10 and transfers the contents of the requested register 7 to the GP-LP communication register 9 of a terminal control processor 6. A processor 6 scans the register 9 to set a status and a device address in a register 10. A GP4 scans it and transfers its contents to a GP-LP communication register 8. A processor 5 inhibits and permits the transmission of a terminal input message to a central system according to the state of the processor 6, evading a collision between a center receive message and the terminal input message.
