Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system between road and vehicle adopting a wireless communication system that has immunity to fading, shadowing and phase noise and stably maintains communication quality between a base station and a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A communication system between road and vehicle is characterized in that a road side network is built up by using base stations 104, 114 placed along a road, antenna sections 103, 113 for each base station, control stations 101, 111 controlling each base stations, a cable 102 interconnecting the base stations and the control stations, and a cable 130 interconnecting the control stations, the code division multiplex transmission system is used between mobile terminals 126 of vehicles 121, 122 123 and the base stations for wireless transmission, the optical fiber wireless transmission technology is adopted between the base stations and the control stations for transmission, and the control stations collectively control each processing such as communication modulation demodulation processing, multiple access processing, frequency assignment and code assignment.
