To make it possible to decrease a peak value of a consumption current in a system with respect to the system in which a plurality of devices are connected and electric power is supplied from the same electric source to the devices.
There is provided a communication system in which electric power is supplied from the same electric source to a plurality of devices. In the communication system, voltage phase conversion is instructed to a receiver so that a phase of a voltage supplied to a load of the receiver is made into a plurality of different phases for each receiver. A receiver receiving the instruction converts a voltage phase depending on the instruction to supply the voltage of the converted phase to the load. Thus, the peak values of the consumption currents applied to the loads of respective devices in the system are dispersed, thus making it possible to decrease the peak value of the consumption current in the whole of the system.
