Abstract:
To notify a user about which is the communication function being capable of use or used for real communication out of analog and digital communication functions.
When VoIP telephone is capable of performing telephone conversation via the Internet by transferring a digital backet, a VoIP use enable LED 41 is lightened. When the VoLP telephone is actually called and the ADSL line is used, ADSL LED 43 is lightened, and a histogram is also indicated at a display unit 40. When a general telephone is called through PSTN line, PSTN LED 42 is lightened and also it is indicated at the display unit 40. When calling, a line to occupy is selected from the destination telephone number, and the selected line is displayed.
