The receiver 10 is equipped with computation modules BU1, BU2, and BU3, and FU1, FU2, and FU3 which are so designed as to make a mutual communication through a mutual communication network equipped with a forward path and a return path. The network operates so as to actualize a unidirectional local-area communication between mutually adjacent computation modules in the forward path and return path and a unidirectional wide-area communication between mutually nonadjacent computation modules. The local- area communication and wide-area communication are actualized by a programmable sequence of interconnection cells equipped with storage means 11, 12, and 13 storing data crossing mutually nonadjacent modules arranged in at least the forward path or return path.
