Abstract:
The present invention avoids interference by a downward communication signal (13) in a TDD-based other communication system adjacent to the frequency of a forward-link line (8) from a base station (2) to a communication terminal (1). The communication terminal (1) acquires information on timing at which is transmitted the TDD-transmission downward communication signal (13) adjacent to the frequency of the forward-link line (8) received by the communication t erminal (1). Using information on the timing at which the downward communication signal (13) is transmitted, the communication terminal (1) determines whet her there is interference by the downward communication signal (13) in a signal of the forward-link line (8) received by the communication terminal (1). When it is determined that there is an interference by the downward communication signal (13), the base station (2) transmits information to be sent to the com munication terminal (1) by using the signal of the forward-link line (8) at a timing where receiving by the communication terminal (1) is possible at a time when the downward communication signal (13) is not transmitted.
