Abstract:
To provide a communication terminal apparatus capable of efficiently downloading a Java application by two-step downloading even when different communication modes can be switched, and a data acquisition method using the communication terminal apparatus.
In the data acquisition method for acquiring a Java application through a network, an application definition file is downloaded and analyzed to obtain communication mode information and whether the Java application can be downloaded or not is determined on the basis of the communication mode information.
