A main control section 1 of a facsimile machine 20 sequentially stores image data to an image memory 8 and a RAM 7 together with an electronic mail address of a corresponding destination (S1-S8 in Figure 7), when a prescribed transmission time comes (YES in S13), the main control section 1 makes a call to a telephone number of the repeater 60 via a public telephone network 50 (S14), sets information of the destination electronic mail address to an IRA(Internet Routing Address) signal being a protocol signal of facsimile communication, transmits the resulting IRA signal (S16), after transmission of the stored and corresponding image data (S18), the main control section 1 transmits an EOM signal without interrupting a public telephone line L1 (S20), and transmits information of other destination electronic mail addresses and corresponding image data (S16-S18).
