To obtain a communication terminal, such as a mobile phone having an automatic answering machine capable of controlling selection of response messages, a forced call to a user, or the like, depending on an originator and the time when an incoming call from the originator is generated.
The communication terminal is comprised of: a storage unit for previously storing a calling number of an outgoing side terminal, and an authentication information; a receiving unit for receiving a call setting signal including the calling number of the outgoing side terminal; and a control unit for setting a particular function corresponding to conformity of the calling number included in the call setting signal with the calling number stored in the storage unit, as well as authentication confirmation performed based on the authentication information.
